attacked

it was already late when i had to walk a friend home.
on my way out of the village when not much people are around, somebody jumped me from behind and punched the back of the head. i saw that he was wearing his black shirt like a ninja mask (you know what i mean) and i think it was a boxer short. cool huh?
anyway, just punched again at the right side of my face sending my eyeglasses flying onto the dark streets. can’t fight back since i’m practically blind. he run right after that. good thing he didn’t have a knife or even mugged me. still thanking that i’m still alive to tell the tale.
i’m also thankful for the couple of teenagers who helped me find my eyeglasses.
i’m still thinking whether to tell my friend to the ordeal i had gone through. don’t want anyone to get worried. in truth, i’m worried about the honest people living there.
i just wish that the person who attacked me gets what he deserved.
i hope karma comes back to bite him…hard.

true blood

Thanks to the help of Ford, there was an emergency blood letting to help my father.

It was my third time to donate blood.  It still scares me.  but it was a relief when it is finished.  you get to help out.

In this case, i’m helping my own father.  It made me think that a lot of partners at ford are willing to help out a complete stranger.  That’s why from now on, i’ll make it a point to donate blood whenever there’s blood donation drive.

Thanks for all those who donated blood.  also i want to thank who tried to donate blood.  I know that you wanted to help but due to some constraints.  i really appreciate the effort.

the name.  this is the first thing that you should know about a person, right?  i’m guessing you’re agreeing with me.

but what if, you’ve been calling them a different name all this years and they never bothered to correct you?  how would you feel?

the truth is…this has happened to me.  i’ve known this girl for quite a long time.  i considered her one of my closest friends.  i still do but i’m starting to question whether if she did consider me as one of her close friends since she never corrected me.  to put things on a different perspective, maybe i was not just paying attention much.  i didn’t get to know her better.

i’m ashamed of myself for not knowing such a simple thing.

birthday

it’s definitely not my birthday…not anytime soon.

i was watching this jdrama, buzzer beat, earlier. there’s this one scene wherein the female lead got a call from her mom greeting her a happy birthday. the female lead, crying, thanked her mom for giving birth to her. and this scene got me thinking.

how come in our society during birthdays we are greeting the one who was born on that day? why not greet the one who gave birth, who took care of the child from her womb until the day the baby was born into the world. i mean, most of the work comes from the mother, right?

neck neck mo

there’s a natural order to things on this earth.  if the order is broken, then we unconsciously follow this sub-order which would lead you back to the original order.  i know you are getting confused but here’s what i think.

people (in my opinion, all human beings) looks at a another person’s face to see if he/she is attractive.  some may say that it’s not always the case.  i agree though if only the one who should be taking a look is blind.  if you’re not visually impaired then don’t bother justifying yourself that you don’t look at the face to see their attractiveness.  we have this natural order of telling a person is attractive or not.

let’s say you are walking around in the mall.  from far away, you can see this girl.  inch by inch you are getting closer to her.  we can’t deny that we are staring at her face.  checking out if she’s pretty or not.  whatever the case maybe, we will than take a look at her rack.  lastly, we will take a look at her butt as she passed you by and walks further away from you.  so there’s mainly three things we look at in a certain order: the face, the rack and the butt.  if one happens to see the rack or the butt first, you would then follow the original order: face->rack->butt.

remember: face->rack->butt.  these three parts is already a given.  men would look at these, no question.  unless they’re visually impaired.  after those three what comes next.  some would say hair, legs, hands, arms, eyes, tummy, and feet.  but for me, i like to look at necks.  probably i was a vampire in my past life.

to show my appreciation with necks, i took a photo of one girl’s neck on the way home last friday.  at first her hair was down, so i didn’t really notice her from where i was sitting.  since it was getting a little hot in the van, some have been fanning themselves.  for her though, she tied her hair up (see photo).  that’s when i noticed her.  with her hair like that i can’t help but look at her.  it was hard taking a photo covertly.  have to make sure first that my phone doesn’t produce this sound before taking a photo.  the girl on the photo seems to be korean.  anyway, it’s a good thing i wasn’t able to take a photo of her face for anonimity.

i know it’s bad of me but what the heck.

the time traveler’s wife

this may seem weird to some but i watched this movie alone.  there were a couple of awkward moments upon entry and selecting a seat in the movie house.  naturally, you would assume that couples will be watching this movie next would be group of girls and yes that was the case in this scenario. 

at first, they were showing previews of the upcoming films. lo and behold…the trailer for new moon came up.  some of the girls in the same row were giving out this girlish screams as if saying “let’s get naked and eat me, edward”.  i mean my god, girls, get a hold of yourselves.  Ü

chico garcia is right.  this movie should have been named, “the time traveler’s pwet”.  moviegoers will see a lot of eric bana’s behind. if you haven’t watched this movie yet, the concept of time travel is similar to the terminators sent back from the future to kill john and sarah connor.  those time travelers don’t have any clothes on upon arriving to the new time. 

the story is nice but sad to say, no teardrops for me. 

 

spoiler alert!

 what i like most about the movie is the ending.  even with henry’s (eric bana) death, clare (rachel mcadams) can still have moments with younger henry.  clearly, death is not the end of a relationship.
